Campus Today
The Community Learning Center (CLC) is located in downtown Oceanside just east of Interstate 5 along Mission Avenue. The campus is a 7.6-acre urban facility and includes a narrow frontage along the busy corridor that opens up to a larger campus core. The CLC is currently home to the college’s noncredit courses.

Development History
The MiraCosta College Adult Learning Center was relocated to its current site in 2000 and renamed as the Community Learning Center (CLC). Over the years, the campus has expanded to acquire additional property. This expansion has supported program growth for building and parking areas, enhanced the visibility along Mission Avenue and create a ‘campus feel’ with outdoor collaboration areas.

Facilities Future Plan
Aligning with the 4 Future Lenses that inform a set of Facilities Guiding Principles, this plan points MiraCosta College towards an Equitable, Collaborative, Adaptable, and Sustainable Future.

Future New Construction
Future Buildings

The Futures Plan for CLC identifies site development opportunities for the continued development of the campus. Two locations are identified for potential expansion of current programs or for the potential for new programs to be housed at this campus.
Proposed building footprints continue the development of the CLC with a focus on enhancing the visibility and presence along Mission Avenue, and creating a pedestrian campus experience, with outdoor instruction and collaboration areas.
During the planning process several considerations were discussed including the following: programs currently housed at TCI, student support services expansion, a new food pantry, and storage.
